Prospect is a fully local iOS app for athletic self-assessment, Prospect OVR ratings, training plans, and shareable Prospect Cards. This policy explains what happens (and, more importantly, what does not happen) with your information when you use Prospect.
Summary
Prospect does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on a server, because Prospect does not have a server. Everything you enter into the app — your name, age, height, weight, quiz answers, ratings, and training progress — stays on your device.
Information We Collect
None. Prospect has no account system, no login, and no backend. There is nothing to "collect" because nothing you do in the app is ever sent anywhere.
Specifically, Prospect does not use:
- Analytics SDKs
- Advertising or ad networks
- Tracking of any kind (including cross-app or cross-site tracking)
- Location services
- Camera access
- Microphone access
- Contacts access
- Health data access
How Your Data Is Stored
Your athlete profile, quiz answers, ratings, and training checklist progress are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage. This data is never transmitted off your device, never backed up to a server we control, and never visible to us — because we have no way to access it.
Photos Access
Prospect will only ask for access to your Photos library at the moment you choose to save or share your Prospect Card image. This permission is used solely to save that image to your device. Prospect does not read, scan, or access any other photos on your device, and does not use this permission for any other purpose.
No Sale or Sharing of Data
Prospect does not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party, for any purpose — including advertising, marketing, or analytics. There is no data to share, because none leaves your device.
Deleting Your Data
Because all of your data lives only on your device, you can permanently delete it at any time by deleting the Prospect app from your device. This removes your athlete profile, ratings, and training history completely. There is no separate account or server-side record to delete, because none exists.
Children's Privacy
Prospect does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, because Prospect does not collect personal information from anyone. The app itself is intended as a general athletic self-assessment and training tool.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Prospect adds account sign-in or real payment processing — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before that change ships.
